"Albacor Siberia" LLC together with colleagues from the aviation and trucking departments of "Albacor Shipping" successfully carried out air delivery of the turbine rotor and blades (total weight 4.5 tonnes) from Japan (Osaka International Airport) to Russia. Dimensions of the cargo and its weight were the following:
Wooden crate - the rotor, 4470 kg gross weight, dimensions l * w * h (410 * 175 * 207 cm).
A rotor blade in a carton box, gross weight of 62 kg, dimension l * w * h (93 * 65 * 56 cm).
In order to reduce the cost of transportation, the customer was offered the option of transport by aircraft from Japan to Europe, with further trucking to Russia (Cherepovets). Air transportation was carried out by China Airlines flight through Hong Kong to the airport of Frankfurt am Main (Germany), where after making of transit declaration T1, cargo was overloaded on a truck of customs carrier and delivered to Cherepovets.
Customs clearance was made by the customer at destination. The total transit time of transportation Japan-Russia amounted of 10 calendar days.
