Multimodal transportation from China to Russia

A project on delivery of technological equipment for the Saratov technical glass factory has completed. In August 2013 Albacor Shipping participated in tender hold by this enterprise for delivery of equipment for the production of pure nitrogen. We have been selected as the winner out of several other major freight forwarders.
Delivery of equipment from China carried out in two parallel stages in teamwork with specialists from our sea and rail departments.
Multimodal transportation included 8x40' containers on the route from Suzhou (China) - Shanghai port - Novorossiysk - Saratov.
Oversized pieces of equipment with the maximum length of 20.8 m, width 3.3 m, height 3.2 m transported on low-bed trailers from the factory in Suzhou to the Russian-Chinese border n (Manzhouli / Zabaykalsk) where they were transshipped onto the universal rail flatcars and followed further by rail to the station Trofimovsky-2, Saratov.
