Our ocean freight department together with colleagues from Canada has successfully completed a delivery of flight simulator for pilots of Aeroflot, Russian Airlines. Cargo was shipped from sea port of Montreal to St. Petersburg and later delivered to the Sheremetyevo Airport.
The simulator itself consisted of 3 oversized pieces, which were placed on 2 Flat Racks as well as additional equipment loaded in 3 x 40’ containers:
1) 8.00 m x 4.07 m x 3.80 m - 9,800 kg;
2) 6.75 m x 4.16 m x 3.58 m - 2,980 kg;
3) 4.38 m x 3.75 m x 2.82 m - 2,050 kg.
After arrival to St. Petersburg specialists of ocean freight department of "Albacore Shipping" promptly carried out clearance of transit documents and supplied low bed trailer and trucks for delivery of flight simulator to Sheremetyevo. The total period of transportation from Canada to the destination amounted of 36 days.
