The project on transportation of pressing line equipment for laminated chipboard from China to Irkutsk region successfully completed. The total weight of this shipment was about 250 tons, with 9 OOG places weighed about 100 tons, the length of which reached 12.75 m, width 3.65 m and a height of 2.95 m. The project involved experts of marine and rail departments whose coordinated actions allowed to meet the terms of transportation given by a customer. 13 railway containers 40' and 2 railway containers 20' were driven up to the shipper`s door in Changzhou. Oversized cargo was loaded onto low bed trailers. At the station Manjouli OOG cargo was transshipped from the trailers on 6 railway platforms and together with 15 railway containers delivered to Zabaikalsk, where in a short time the whole consignment has passed the customs clearance in Russia. Further railway transportation to Ust-Ilimsk also passed without problems.
